HAMMY HASSAN

Hamatulrahman Hassan (or Hammy ) is a Kenyan Fashion Model and influencer who is dismantling barriers and has risen to the top of the fashion industry in the UAE. We were intrigued by her journey and decided to chat with her.... we wanted to know the  the secret of her success. A young model from Kenya has become world renowned...with over 1 million followers on Instagram and very famous in the fashion industry in the United Arab Emirate....how do you explain that? She is not only beautiful, but she is also very smart and intelligent. Hammy is enrolled in Harvard University.

Through it all she has stayed true to her identity. She did not try to appear more European to be accepted. She has beautiful tan skin and she is very proud of her African heritage.

BronzePage: Please tell us about your journey to the top....that young girl from Kenya...who could have thought!! How did you do it?

Hammy: My modeling journey began in Kenya, where my passion for the industry ignited. A few  years ago, I made the bold decision to move to Dubai, a city known for its bustling fashion scene and opportunities. Determined to make my dreams a reality, I embarked on a challenging path to establish myself in the modeling world. The initial stages of my journey were not without their fair share of obstacles. I attended numerous castings, eagerly showcasing my talent and unique qualities. However, rejection became a frequent companion. Despite the disappointments and setbacks, I refused to let them define me or deter my aspirations.  Motivated by an unwavering belief in my abilities, I persevered. I knew that success in the modeling industry required not only talent but also resilience and an unyielding spirit. I continually honed my skills, constantly pushing myself to improve and evolve as a model.

I sought inspiration from those who had achieved greatness in the industry, studying their journeys and learning from their experiences. Their stories reminded me that setbacks and rejections were merely stepping stones on the path to success, not roadblocks. Through hard work, dedication, and a refusal to settle for less, I gradually started to make progress. Opportunities began to present themselves, and doors that were once closed began to open. Casting agents and industry professionals recognized my determination and commitment, and I started receiving more favorable responses.
